Action in the Scott County District Court brought on behalf of Richard Hanson, a minor, by Hazel M. Hanson, his mother and natural guardian, to recover for personal injuries allegedly sustained by said minor on defendants premises. Said Hazel Hanson also sought consequential damages as special administratrix of the estate of Arthur Hanson, father of Richard. The case was tried before Arlo E. Haering, Judge, and a jury, which returned verdicts for plaintiffs for $30,000 and $10,000 respectively. Defendant appealed from an order denying his alternative motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdicts or for a new trial and from the judgments entered.
